The Australian Election - Inception 2
I’m dreaming right? Aussie politicians have got us caught up in their dream and all 22 million of us are trying to find ‘the kick’ and the only ‘kick’ we know of is August 21 - election day. (If you’ve seen the movie you’ll know what I mean). - this election campaign is in free fall.
This has to be the most bizarre election I have ever seen. Labour ditches our elected Prime Minister apparently because he’s not good at running the Government, they then ask us to vote for his deputy whose campaign is so bad that they have relaunched a new campaign mid way through the campaign (new Julia) and now they start telling us how good their Government was under the former leader they got rid of for being so bad.
Yesterday Tony uses the NO word and it’s considered “no you can’t say that” - it’s PC gone mad. The media accuses our leaders of being bland because they’re watching every word they say…hello!
If you wrote a movie script like this it would be thrown out as being totally insane. Tell me I’m watching a Monty Python movie please, or an episode out of “Yes Minister”. Did I miss something here?
I’m tired of living in our politicians dreams.
