Climate change IS Crap!
Ah! a headline to get you in! Penny Wong is wrong! The Australian newspaper today reports how Penny Wong wants to give houses in Australia a star rating as to their ‘carbon print’. Aussie scientists are calling on her to ‘revise’ her data because her assumptions are wrong!
Thing is, her rating is based on the materials used to build the house. How many people live in the house, how many hair dryers are used, how many TV’s or computers in the house in use, are not part of her system. DAH!
People will be penalized if their home does meet her prescribe carbon footprint. This is where the whole climate change argument falls apart.
I’m all for making this a cleaner planet but Penny, academic gobbledygook and a bunch of checked boxes on a piece of paper doesn’t make this a better planet and doesn’t get you anywhere. It only fuels the fire to everyone going “Climate change is Crap”.
